Official launch of CRCI2NA’s "Ecological and Societal Transition" process

A process already launched

In 2025, the centre responded to a call for expressions of interest (API) from Inserm to develop a CSR approach. Following its selection, CRCI²NA received support from Inserm’s TES unit to develop, through a collaborative process, an action plan tailored to its specific challenges.

An important step

On June 18, 2026, the CRCI²NA’s Extraordinary General Meeting was held in Nantes. Philippe Juin, centre's Director, and Sophie Barillé, representative of the GreenLab unit at CRCI²NA, presented the strategy for implementing the EST action plan, in the presence of Inserm, Nantes University and the CNRS. 

In the afternoon, group discussion workshops, led by facilitators from the GreenLab unit, brought together several volunteers from CRCI²NA to brainstorm on the implementation of the selected actions. This event marks the official launch of the centre’s ‘Ecological and Societal Transition’ process.  

What’s next

The aim of this process is to promote responsible and sustainable research within CRCI²NA. Implementation of the first actions will begin end of 2026.
